The Talk of the Town Hotel & Beach Club in Aruba has just completed a 4.2M dollars renovation of all guest rooms as well as the lobby, bar and pool areas, restaurant, hotel entrance and new guest check-in parking area.
The Talk of the Town, a small 62 rooms casual boutique hotel, was established in Aruba in 1943. The hotel has been the pioneer in the hotel industry of the island. With this renovation, all guest rooms have been completely upgraded to today’s highest hotel industry standards. With the help of Interior Designer Morella Barreto and Aruban Architect Jouel Croes the renovation has been completed successfully. It comes together with the launch of a new logo and image better reflecting the new product.
The guest room renovation, besides a new look from the deco change, also included new airconditioning systems, mini refrigerators, microwave ovens, flat LCD TV sets, charging stations, energy saving lamps, electronic safety boxes, ironing boards and on request, coffee makers. The guest bathrooms were also renovated with new fixtures, lighting and hair dryers.
Within the “casual boutique” hotel concept, all the deco and furniture of guest rooms and social areas were changed to reinforce the ambiance of an inviting, intimate and charming environment. A new sound music system has been installed in most public areas of the property including the pool area, allowing the guests to enjoy the music of their preference just by asking for it at the hotel bar. High speed Wi-Fi service in guest rooms and public areas is available to guests free of charge and a Business Center with public computer is also offered. The new pools offers two hot tubs as well as dry and wet sun decks for guests to enjoy their preferred option on a beautiful palm fringed courtyard.
The Talk of the Town Hotel is located in Oranjestad, Aruba, across the street from Surfside Beach, in a central location close to many cultural, gastronomic and leisure activities. The Linear Park pedestrian walkway, starting at the hotel Plaza Turismo, takes you to downtown in a 15 minutes bayside walk. There you can find the best available shopping on the island as well as casinos, museums and all additional city options. In front of the hotel, guests find the Cas di Cultura Theater and different restaurants and bar/café options like Barefoot, Pincho’s, West Deck just to mention a few. The beautiful white sand and calm, clear water beach, one of Aruba’s best and away from the crowds, is a few steps from all guest rooms. At Reflections club at the beach, guests enjoy lounge chairs free of charge as well as an additional pool, bar and restaurant service.
