Aruba Aloe Shows Support for Challenge Aruba with Special Promotion
This October, the Challenge Aruba triathlon event will take place on the island, drawing amateur and professional triathletes and their families from around the world. Aruba Aloe is supporting the event by being one of the sponsors and by launching a special promotion. On the days leading up to the event, October 15-22, Aruba Aloe will be at The Village strip in front of the high-rise hotels in Palm Beach handing out $7 gift certificates to its stores and inviting everyone to the Challenge event. On the day of the event itself, October 23, Aruba Aloe will be handing out the gift certificates to all the event attendees at the Hyatt parking lot, which is where the race finishes.
Aruba Aloe, which manufactures a wide range of health and wellness products, looks to support fellow organizations that promote health and well-being, and Challenge Aruba certainly fits this criteria. Through its support of the event, Aruba Aloe also aims to make people conscious about protecting their skin from the sun, especially when exercising outside or attending outdoor events, and the company's own line of sunscreen is well-suited for this.
“All of our sunscreens are very water-resistant, which makes them ideal for use when swimming or carrying out other exercises that result in excessive sweating. Not only will they offer you the protection your skin needs, but they will also leave your skin feeling soft and smooth,” shared Aruba Aloe's marketing manager, Jessica Posner.
The event is expected to attract many first-time visitors to Aruba, thereby serving as a great opportunity for the island to showcase all that it has to offer to a new market segment. Aruba Aloe is specifically looking to introduce these visitors to its wide range of products made here in Aruba with the finest Aloe Vera in the world.
“We feel that our products are part of the Aruba experience, and we strive to bring that experience to island guests,” explains Posner. “The gift certificates we will be giving out are our way of inviting everyone to pick out a nice gift from one of our stores and get to know our brand—and Aruba—a little bit better.”
Aruba Aloe's support of Challenge Aruba follows closely on the heels of the company's support of another wellness-related initiative, Aloe Wellness Month, which took place last June. Aruba Aloe contributed to the initiative with a special wellness experience that it hosted at its RIU Palace store.
Aruba Aloe invites everyone to get involved in Challenge Aruba, either as a participant or spectator. The benefits of the event go far beyond physical exercise. Motivational seminars will be given by the event ambassadors, Tim DeBoom and Marc Herremans, and the sense of community engendered by the event is something everyone can enjoy.
