A lovely private ceremony was held at sunset on the boat.
Lorraine and Ron Perri, originally New Yorkers but currently residing in North Carolina, have been coming to Aruba since 1963! This year, they visited the happy island to celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary and to renew their vows.
Friends and family flew in from all over to be with them during this special time. Of course, Lorraine and Ron made many local friends over the years, several of them were in attendance too. After all, the people of Aruba are a big part of what brings the Perris back again and again.
The couple chose to hold their ceremony aboard the Jolly Pirates. Their favorite captain, Julio, performed his light-hearted ceremony where the couple exchanged the ship’s life rings as a symbol of their endless love. The team at Jolly Pirates were so in love with this story, they asked if it could be shared!
A huge congrats to Lorraine and Ron. We hope to see you back on our happy island again soon.
