OMUNDO Debuts with a Colorful Entry to Aruba’s Restaurant Scene
Artsy boho vibes set the stage for a colorful foodie adventure at one of Aruba’s newest restaurants.
OMUNDO Aruba, brought to you by the owners of Twist of Flavors and The Brownstone, recently opened in Palm Beach, set in an eclectic but modern space at the new Aruba Boutique & Art Hotel.
Highlighting a menu of global cuisine, OMUNDO (Portuguese for the world) lives up to its name, offering a unique gastronomic worldview in its selection of inspired dishes for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
Breakfast features an array of egg combinations, offering to take diners’ palates to places like Spain with a Spanish omelet served with serrano ham, olives, and sundried tomatoes. Feast on Parisian vibes with mini quiche, croissant and jam, and a decadent crepe Nutella, or spice it up with Mexican breakfast tacos. Italian, Dutch, and American breakfast plates can also be enjoyed.
Lunchtime at OMUNDO offers quite a variety of midday noshes. Discover the delightful pomegranate couscous salad or the tropical take on ceviche with passionfruit or go all-out comfort food with an authentic Dutch-style hotdog with smoked sausage laced with curry sauce or a plate of poutine fries au jus smothered in mozzarella, bacon, and chives. A standout on the lunch menu is the OMUNDO Wok, allowing guests to curate to their taste, choosing from a variety of Asian-inspired sauces, meat and meatless proteins, and a choice of fried rice, white rice, or noodles.
A variety of seafood, steak, and pasta dishes are offered on the dinner menu, as well as sushi. OMUNDO’s Shareables menu is a hit right out of the gate, letting guests leisurely graze on platters like Spanish charcuterie, Asian wok favorites, Mexican bites, and a mix of Colombian shareables, among others. The OMUNDO team has also created a wine pairing to match each of these shareable platters.
Dine outdoors on the terrace overlooking the bustling Palm Beach Road, or indoors among colorful art. Open daily for breakfast from 7am to 11am, lunch from 11am to 4pm, and dinner from 4pm to 10pm.
