1. CONTEST PERIOD: The World’s Easiest Job Contest (the “Contest”) begins 9:00 a.m. Eastern Time (“ET”) on February 28, 2023 and ends 11:59 p.m. ET on March 31, 2023 (“Contest Period”).
2. SPONSOR/ADMINISTRATOR: The Sponsor of the Contest is Aruba Tourism Authority, L.G. Smith Blvd 8, P.O. Box 1019, Oranjestad, Aruba. The Administrator of the Contest is Don Jagoda Associates, Inc., 100 Marcus Dr., Melville, NY 11747.
3. ELIGIBILITY: The Contest is open only to legal residents of the 48 contiguous United States, the District of Columbia (excluding Alaska and Hawaii) and Canada (excluding Quebec) (“Eligibility Area”), who are 18 years of age or the age of majority in their jurisdiction of residence or older at the time of submission. Employees of Aruba Tourism Authority (the “Sponsor”), Zeno Group, Don Jagoda Associates, Inc. (“Administrator”), and their respective affiliates, parents, subsidiaries, divisions, suppliers, retailers and advertising, promotional and judging agencies (collectively, the “Released Parties”), and their immediate family members (spouse and parents, children, siblings and their respective spouses, regardless of where they reside) and/or those living in the same household of each, whether or not related, are not eligible to participate or win. Void outside the Eligibility Area and where prohibited or restricted by law and subject to all applicable laws and regulations. Participation constitutes participant’s full and unconditional agreement to these Official Rules.
4. HOW TO ENTER: During the Contest Period, you may enter the Contest by visiting https://www.aruba.com/us/worlds-easiest-job (the “Website”), completing the registration form and uploading an original video of up to 30 seconds that features your mock weather report for Aruba (collectively, the video and the registration form the “Entry”). Video must be submitted in one of the following formats: MPEG, MP4, MOV, AVI, FLV or M4V and must be no larger than 350MB. Limit one (1) Entry per person/email address.
   
   In order to be entered into the Contest, entrants must comply with the registration instructions on the Website when submitting their Entry. Entries may be submitted by one entrant only and entrants are not permitted to create a team and submit an Entry together. Duplicate submissions will automatically be disqualified. Proof of submission will not be deemed to be proof of receipt by Sponsor. Use of any automated or computer system to participate is prohibited and will result in disqualification. All Entries become the property of the Sponsor and must be received by 11:59 p.m. ET on March 31, 2023. In the event of a dispute as to the identity of an entrant, the authorized account holder of the email address provided at time of Entry will be deemed to be the entrant. The "authorized account holder" is the natural person assigned an email address by an Internet access provider, online service provider, Internet service provider, or other organization responsible for assigning email addresses for the domain associated with the submitted address. Potential winner may be required to show proof of being the authorized account holder. Entries specifying an invalid, non-working, or inactive email address may be disqualified and deemed ineligible to win. No information regarding Entries, other than as otherwise set forth in these Official Rules or on the Website, will be disclosed. By participating, entrants agree to these Official Rules and the decisions of the Sponsor, which shall be final and binding in all respects.
   
   All Entries and videos submitted become the property of Sponsor upon submission and will not be returned. Each entrant grants to Sponsor a worldwide, royalty-free, perpetual, non-exclusive right and license to copy, distribute, and display each submitted Entry, in any media, and with right to use, copy, modify, edit, and create derivative works thereafter in any manner , and agrees to execute documents confirming such right and license (as further defined below) at Sponsor’s request. Entry must be uploaded in accordance with the specifications set forth in these Official Rules and at the Website. By entering, you agree that your Entry may be posted online, in Sponsor’s sole discretion. 
   
   Entry Requirements:
   • Entry may not feature additional individuals in video except for the entrant. 
   • Entry must not contain or depict any harmful or dangerous activity (in Sponsor’s sole discretion) that is detrimental to the safety and well-being of the entrant.
   • Videos must be no larger than 350MB and must be submitted in one of the following formats: MPEG, MP4, MOV, AVI, FLV or M4V.
   • Entry must be your original work (modification of an original work is not an original work). Entries must not copy or otherwise plagiarize from any source.  
   • The Entry must not have been submitted previously in a giveaway or promotion of any kind or previously exhibited or displayed publicly (i.e., disclosed beyond your immediate circle of friends and family) through any means.
   • Any Entry deemed inappropriate, offensive, discriminatory, or unsuitable, in Sponsor’s sole discretion, will be disqualified. Entries must not contain material that is inappropriate, indecent (including, but not limited to, nudity, or pornography), profane, obscene, hateful, tortious, defamatory, slanderous, libelous (including words or symbols that are widely considered offensive to individuals of a certain race, ethnicity, religion, sexual orientation, or socioeconomic group), violent, self-mutilating (e.g., relating to murder, the sales of weapons, cruelty, abuse, etc.), portrays consumption of alcohol, or illegal (e.g., underage drinking, vaping, smoking, drug use, substance abuse, computer hacking, etc.).
   • The Entry must not contain or depict material that promotes bigotry, racism, hatred or harm against any group or individual or promotes discrimination, including without limitation, discrimination based on race, sex, religion, nationality, disability, sexual orientation or age. The Entry must not contain or depict material that is threatening to any person, place, business, group, or world peace or contain words or symbols that are widely considered offensive to individuals of a certain race, ethnicity, religion, sexual orientation, or socioeconomic group.
   • The Entry must not include any representation of celebrities, athletes, musicians, or any other third-party (public or private), include any anti-social, political or religious groups, any commercial solicitation or promotional materials or name, address, phone number, or URL address. Entries must not contain advertisements, personal solicitations or commercial solicitations. 
   • The Entry must not contain any content that infringes or may infringe third party rights, including, without limitation, any copyright, name, trademark, logo, trade dress, or other personal or proprietary right of any person living or deceased (including but not limited to rights of privacy or publicity or portrayal in a false light) or entity or make reference to any commercial/corporate advertising (including but not limited to corporate logos, brand names, charities, slogans, political, or religious statements), or be otherwise objectionable. Without limiting the generality of the foregoing, publicly displayed and publicly accessible Sponsor content, materials, or products are permitted to be displayed in Entries submitted for this Contest. 
   • Entries should not contain any third-party materials or otherwise violate or infringe (or possibly infringe) any copyright, trademark, logo, mark that identifies a brand.
   • The Entry must not contain viruses, Trojan horses, worms, bots, spyware or any other computer code that is intended to damage, interfere with, or surreptitiously intercept or expropriate any system, data or information.
   • Entrants and all submitted Entries may not be offensive and must be in keeping with Sponsor's image as determined by Sponsor, in its sole discretion, or Entry may be disqualified from the Contest. The Entry must not disparage Sponsor or persons or organizations or any companies associated with Sponsor.
   • Any Entry not in compliance with the above and which does not meet the Website’s and Contest’s requirements will be disqualified.
5. JUDGING AND WINNER DETERMINATION: At the conclusion of the Contest Period, all eligible Entries will be judged by a panel of qualified representatives selected by Sponsor based on the following judging criteria: Adherence to Contest theme (video accurately and clearly communicates your weather report for Aruba) (30%); Originality & Creativity (25%); Presentation/Messaging (25%); Overall Video Quality (20%); to determine the Grand Prize winner. In the event of a tie, the Sponsor will judge the tied Entries based on Originality and Creativity to determine the Grand Prize winner. Decisions of Sponsor/Administrator/judges are final with respect to all matters relating to the Contest.
6. WINNER NOTIFICATION: The potential Grand Prize winner will be contacted via phone and/or email/email link and will be required to sign and return via email/email link, a Declaration of Eligibility, liability/publicity release (where permitted by law) and assignment of rights within three (3) days of notification attempt or prize will be forfeited and an alternate winner may be determined, time permitting. Return of prize notification as undeliverable may result in disqualification and alternate determination, time permitting. Return of any prize or prize notification as undeliverable or if a potential winner is not eligible, it may result in disqualification and alternate determination.
7. PRIZE AND APPROXIMATE RETAIL VALUES (“ARV”): Grand Prize (1): A 7-day/6-night trip to Aruba for winner and one guest to Aruba. Trip includes round trip economy air transportation from the airport nearest Winner’s home to Aruba, ground transportation to/from airport/hotel and sponsor-specified hotel accommodations (one room/double occupancy). In addition, you will have the opportunity (at Sponsor's discretion) to be featured on Aruba's social channels. Specific social channels will be determined by Sponsor. There is no monetary value associated with being featured on Sponsor's social channels. (ARV: $5,000). No transfer, substitution or cash equivalent of the prize will be permitted, except at the sole discretion of the Sponsor due to prize unavailability for any reason, including but not limited to, cancellation, scheduling conflicts or an event of force majeure (including any pandemic); and, in such circumstance, an alternate prize/prize component of equal value will be awarded and the Sponsor’s obligation to the winner will be fulfilled, and no other additional compensation will be provided. No responsibility or liability is assumed for damages, losses or injury resulting from acceptance or use of prize. Any taxes related to the prizes are the sole responsibility of the Winner. Prize award is subject to verification of eligibility and compliance with these Official Rules. 
   
   Trip must be taken within one year of notification or Prize will be forfeited. Certain restrictions and blackout dates may apply. Airline tickets are for travel from major airport in the 48 contiguous United States and D.C. (excluding Alaska and Hawaii) or Canada (excluding Quebec), from airport nearest winner’s home to destination. Actual retail value of trip is dependent upon airport of departure. Airline carrier's regulations and conditions apply. The trip may not be combined with any other offer and travel may not qualify for frequent flyer miles. The winner and their respective guest must travel together on the same itinerary. All other expenses and costs, not expressly listed above, including, but not limited to, airline baggage fees, taxes, tips, entertainment, hotel transfers, and transportation to airport to and from the winner’s home residence are the winner’s sole responsibility. Winner will be required to provide a valid major credit card or some other acceptable form of payment, as determined in the hotel’s sole discretion upon hotel check-in and all in-room charges, telephone calls, meals, beverages, hotel upgrades, amenities, personal incidentals and any other expenses charged to the winner’s hotel room will be charged to that major valid credit card. Sponsor is not responsible for any fees or additional charges resulting from the winner’s or guest’s change to itinerary or accommodations. Accommodations are subject to availability. No refunds or credit for changes are allowed. Winner’s guest must be 18 years of age or older and must meet rest of eligibility requirements and must execute and return a release of liability/Assignment of Rights prior to travel. The winner and his/her respective guest must possess valid travel documents (i.e., a passport that is valid beyond date of stay) in order to travel and must travel on the same itinerary as the respective winner. Sponsor will not be responsible for Acts of God, acts of terrorism, civil disturbances, work stoppage, pandemics or any natural disaster outside their control that may cause the cancellation of the trip and ultimately these Official Rules will govern in any of these cases. A 1099 tax statement will be filed with the IRS for the actual total value of the Prize if the winner is from the U.S. Winner and his/her guest irrevocably waive all claims against the Sponsor and its Administrators and agree that the Sponsor and its Administrators will have no liability or responsibility and shall be held harmless by entrants/winner/guest for any claim arising in connection with a potentially heightened risk of exposure to communicable diseases, viruses, bacteria or illnesses (including, without limitation, COVID-19) and the causes thereof, and sickness arising as a result of winner and/or guest participating in the Contest and related activities, wherever, whenever or however the same may occur.  Winner and his/her guest fully understand that (a) the novel coronavirus SARS-CoV-2 and any resulting disease (together with any mutation, adaptation or variation thereof, “COVID-19”) is extremely contagious and there is an inherent risk of exposure to COVID-19 in any place where people are or have been present including the Prize; (b) no precautions, including the protocols that may be implemented from time to time based upon public health and government-sponsored guidelines (collectively, the “Protocols”), can eliminate the risk of exposure to COVID-19; (c) while people of all ages and health conditions have been adversely affected by COVID-19, certain people have been identified by public health authorities as having greater risk based on age and/or underlying medical conditions; and (d) exposure to COVID-19 can result in being subject to quarantine requirements, illness, disability, other short-term and long-term health effects, and/or death, regardless of age or health condition. All travelers must also pass any required medical testing and comply with any additional requirements, at any time, that may be required or recommended by any government agency, airline, or Sponsor, including without limitation, passing one or more COVID-19 antigen and/or molecular PCR and screening tests, and testing negative for COVID-19 or having been vaccinated against COVID-19. Travelers may also be required to execute any assumption of risk and/or other documents relating to COVID-19 or he/she may not be permitted to travel. In the event the winner or his/her guest engage in behavior that (as determined by Sponsor in Sponsor’s sole discretion) is inappropriate or threatening, illegal or that is intended to annoy, abuse, threaten or harass any other person, Sponsor reserves the right to terminate the trip early, in whole or in part, and send the winner and/or guest home with no further compensation to the winner. No substitution or transfer of Prize permitted except at the sole discretion of the Sponsor who reserves the right to substitute Prize or select elements of the Prize with items of equal or greater value in the event the Prizes or elements thereof are unavailable. Prizes cannot be redeemed for cash. Prizes are awarded “as is” with no warranty or guarantee, either express or implied. All Prize details are at Sponsor’s sole discretion. 
8. Sponsor and Administrator reserve the right to conduct a background check on the potential Grand Prize winner prior to confirming the official Grand Prize winner. The Sponsor reserves the right in its sole discretion to disqualify a potential winner based on the results of such background check, if Sponsor determines that awarding a prize to such potential winner might reflect negatively on Sponsor or any of its businesses. Factors that may result in disqualification for the potential winner include, without limitation, a potential winner having been convicted of a felony, being delinquent on a government ordered payment, such as child support, spousal support, alimony, or tax payments or public social media accounts that do not align with Sponsor’s image. Winner’s social media accounts must also be aligned with Sponsor’s image and not deemed offensive, in Sponsor’s sole discretion or winner may be disqualified.
9. GENERAL RULES: Decisions of the Sponsor are final with respect to all matters relating to this Contest. By participating, entrants agree to the Official Rules and the decisions of the Sponsor and/or Administrator, which shall be final and binding in all respects. The Sponsor and its agencies are not responsible for technical, hardware, software or telephone malfunctions of any kind, lost or unavailable network connections, or failed, incorrect, incomplete, inaccurate, garbled or delayed electronic communications caused by the user or by any of the equipment or programming associated with or utilized in this Contest, or by any human error which may occur in the processing of the Entries in this Contest, or for any liability for damage to any computer system resulting from participation in, or accessing or downloading information in connection with, this Contest. The Sponsor and/or reserves the right in its sole discretion to disqualify any individual that tampers or attempts to tamper with the Entry process or the operation of the Contest, the Website; violates the Official Rules; or acts in an unsportsmanlike or disruptive manner, or with intent to annoy, abuse, threaten or harass any other person. Any attempt by any person to deliberately undermine the legitimate operation of the Contest may be a violation of criminal and civil law, and, should such an attempt be made, Sponsor reserves the right to seek damages from any such person to the fullest extent permitted by law. Sponsor’s failure to enforce any term of these Official Rules shall not constitute a waiver of that provision. If, for any reason, the Contest is not capable of running as planned, including infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures, or any other causes beyond the control of the Sponsor which corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of the Contest process, then the Sponsor reserves the right at its sole discretion to cancel the Contest and determine the winner via the judges’ scores from among all eligible Entries received prior to cancellation, based on the judging criteria noted above overall.
10. RELEASE: By entering the Contest, you hereby grant the Sponsor, its affiliates, subsidiaries, assigns, licensees, and legal representatives the unrestricted, absolute, perpetual, worldwide right (but not the obligation) and license to use, copy, modify, edit, create derivative works from, display, transmit, perform, distribute, publish, exhibit and otherwise use the submitted Entry, if applicable, in any and all media or form of communication whether now existing or hereafter developed, including the Contest and Sponsor’s Websites/websites or those websites owned by Sponsor or anyone acting with Sponsor’s authority, all for the purpose of operating and publicizing the Contest without any fee or compensation (other than the Prize outlined in Section 7 above). Entrants waive any right to royalties or other compensation arising from or related to the use of the Entries. By entering, entrants acknowledge Sponsor’s right to crop, splice, treat and edit the Entries at its sole discretion and waive the right to inspect or approve the finished product, now and in the future, whether that use is known or unknown to entrant. Sponsor reserves the right to discontinue the use of the Entries without notice to the entrant. By entering, you represent and warrant that: (i) all rights to the Entry belong to you and that your Entry does not and shall not infringe on any copyright or any other third party right nor violate any applicable law or regulation, (ii) you have the right to grant any and all necessary rights and licenses provided herein, including without limitation, all necessary copyright and other related rights to the Entry, free and clear of all claims and encumbrances, without violating the rights of any person or entity, including any right to privacy or publicity, (iii) you hereby hold the Sponsor harmless from and against any claim arising from use of the Entry and you waive any right to inspect or approve uses of the Entry or to be compensated for any such uses. Participating in the Contest constitutes permission to the Sponsor and their agencies to use entrants’ names, voice, likeness, age, city, state and/or image and Entry for purposes of advertising and trade without further compensation, unless prohibited by law By participating in the Contest, you agree that the Released Parties, will have no liability whatsoever for, and will be held harmless by you for, any liability for any bodily injury, loss or damages of any kind to persons, including death, and property, due in whole or in part, directly or indirectly, from Entry creation, the acceptance, possession, use or misuse of the prize, if applicable, or participation in this Contest or participation in any Contest related activity. You hereby waive all rights and release each of the Released Parties from any claim or cause of action, whether now known or unknown, of any kind, including but not limited to defamation, invasion of right to privacy, publicity or personality or any similar matter, relating to the Contest, the operation thereof, or any Entry, or based upon or relating to the use and exploitation of the Entries as contemplated herein, or use in composite form, either intentionally or otherwise. You hereby represent and warrant that you have read these Official Rules and are fully familiar with its contents.
11. PRIVACY POLICY: The personal information collected through this Contest is subject to the Sponsor’s Privacy Policy, located at https://www.aruba.com/us/privacy-policy. By entering this Contest, you agree to the use of your personal information as described in the above Privacy Policy.
12. WINNER: For the name of the winner, available after May 30, 2023 for a period of at least 30 days, send an email to: Winners@dja.com with The World’s Easiest Job Contest (2665-11) as the subject line.
