The Hilton Aruba Caribbean Resort & Casino is a Proud supporter of Feria Social 2016

The Hilton Aruba Caribbean Resort & Casino took an active part in the recent Feria Social 2016, an event organized under the auspices of the Minister of Social Affairs, Youth and Labor in collaborations with CEDE Aruba, an organization dedicated to the development and co-financing of programs and projects in the field of welfare. 

At the final evening of Feria Social 2016, which was held Saturday night at Fort Zoutman in Oranjestad, the minister announced that a whopping amount of Awg 202.000 was collected, to be distributed among fifteen of the island’s NGOs. The final event with youth volunteers, youth coaches, NGO's, and sponsors, was the culmination of that very successful fund raising drive.

The resort’s contribution to Feria Social, in the form of a generous donation of Awg 15,000, is earmarked for a new website for Casa Cuna Children’s home, and the creation of much-needed flyers and informational materials, with the help of volunteer students of the University of Aruba.  

Casa Cuna Children's Home believes that every child has the right to have security, love, attention and structure. Each child must be able to experience that he or she belongs somewhere, in other words, having a home and a family life.
