The Hilton Aruba Caribbean Resort & Casino had the pleasure of hosting thirteen select meeting planners from North America for a recent Destination Review, offered in cooperation with the Aruba Convention Bureau.
The group of dignitaries arrived in Aruba on Thursday and was warmly greeted in the resort lobby, following with an informative site inspection and a tropical welcome reception, also attended by local industry partners.
The resort’s site inspection was conducted by Senior Sales Managers Lily Polsbroek, Griselda Collado and Mark DiMartino, showing off the property which has undergone extensive renovations that preserved the original character of its unique design, and totally updated and upgraded the amenities for visitors with contemporary taste.
While touring the resort the planners seized the opportunity to also see the multiple indoor and outdoor venues for meetings and events.
The group then convened on the eforea beach, where the dignitaries were welcomed with an Aruba Ariba, a classic cocktail invented at the Aruba Caribbean hotel, in July of 1963. Over cocktails, General Manager Hans-Georg Roehrbein introduced himself and his team with a short address reaffirming the resort’s desire to work with the planners, hosting their VIP groups in the spirit of Aruban hospitality.
The night concluded with sumptuous food and dance music under the stars.
The tropical welcome reception was carefully orchestrated by the Culinary Brigade, the Food & Beverage, Catering & Events teams and ECO Destination Management Company.
As guests stayed at the resort for a number of days, while enjoying the overall Aruba vacation product, they also spent time around the pool and on the beach, received relaxing treatments at the spa, and enjoyed a private yoga class in the garden.
We’re just getting started with the amazing effects Aruba has to offer. Dig into your trip details below to unlock a Caribbean experience that will fill you with sunshine and send you home with a happy afterglow that never fades.
