The Blue Energy Community Committee, helps raise funds for a worthy cause

One of the resort’s Blue Energy Committees, the one in charge of community activities collaborated recently with Fundacion Ban Papia, on the organization of a fundraising bingo led by Sheila Stamper, which raised Awg 7.500, for the local not-for-profit organization.
The sold out bingo in the Grand Caribbean ballroom was well attended by employees, their family members, and the general public, who enjoyed an excellent afternoon filled with cash prizes, and resort-sponsored vouchers for dinner at the Sunset Grille and La Playa restaurant, as well as breakfast and brunch vouchers for Laguna Restaurant.
“Our team members were enthusiastic about the opportunity to support a not-for-profit-cause, and showed up in full force to play bingo, have fun, and raise funds, " said Hotel Manager Olivier Maumaire.
Pictured here, representative of Ban Papia Foundation, receiving a check for the funds collected. The money will be used to help members of the foundation attend and compete in a talent and charity modeling show in Denver, Colorado this year.
