Playa Linda honors exceptional employees!
Playa Linda Beach Resort, a beloved Aruba timeshare with global appeal, recently applauded its ‘best of the best’ through an award ceremony spotlighting the talents of individual team members. The resort wrapped up a year of outstanding achievement -- one in which the resort underwent a resort-wide suite refurbishment, during near full occupancy, while still receiving exceptionally high hospitality scores from among both timeshare owners and transient guests. In recognition of this feat, exceptional resort employees were honored with the title of top of their field for their year-round efforts.
Annual honors were bestowed on Employee of the Year Andres Rubio Trujillo from Loss Prevention, Manager of the Year Lisette Ras from Reservations, Rookie of the Year Alejandra Vrolijk from the Front Office, Contractor of the Year Jean Fritz Bien Aime from Housekeeping and member and guest favorite, Star Award winner Laura Sanchez, from Housekeeping. The diversity of the different departments from which award winners were chosen reveals the high level at which the entire crew works together as a team in delivering memorable vacation experiences on a daily basis.
As per visitor reviews, Trip Advisor places the Playa Linda fifth among the 25 island hotels on the island, and consistently awards the resort its “Certificate of Excellence”. It is also among the top resorts in the region, with Playa Linda ranked seventeenth on the list of the top 25 family resorts in the Caribbean. Booking sites, such as Hotels.com, Expedia.com and Booking.com, also regularly rate the resort high in the “loved by guests” category.
The executive staff of General Manager Peter van Grinsven, Financial Director Ann Brinkman and Operations Director Sulaika Kelly attributes this standing to the excellence and dedication of employees.
