Organizer Pepia-Est surprises Disabled Golf Aruba with a cheque

A well-attended charity golf tournamen, held under perfect circumstances and with lots of social interaction: it was the dream scenario which became reality for Pepia-Est, a fine wine and liquor wholesaler on the island and organizer of a fundraising golf event at the Tierra del Sol golf course.

A sizeable cheque for a new foundation called Disabled Golf Aruba was the result of the great support of many sponsors and participants.

Disabled Golf Aruba is an initiative for fysically challenged people who wish to start playing golf. Last May a golf tournament with Dutch disabled participants was already held at Tierra del Sol; this and a clinic were organized by the Dutch foundation BMVG. This month's cheque will go towards the organization of a Federation Cup at Tierra del Sol, which will be held in 2018.

Local sponsos of the Pepia-Est tournament at Tierra del Sol were Tito's Handmade Vodka, Divino, Maduro Travel, Aruba Wine and Dine, Latam Airlines, Garage Centraal, Complete Logistics, CATC, C2 Construction, ATA, ASD, Finance Quest, Gianni's Group, TEC, PWC, Setar, Hyatt and Boolchand's.
