Just recently, La Cabana Beach Resort & Casino associates and members of the management team gathered to celebrate Aruba’s Anthem and Flag Day.
The day began with a Flag Hoisting ceremony where the associates walked out with the flag held with pride by designated associates David Maduro, Alvaro Paramo, Gregorio Milton, Christopher Carolina, Angel Santos & Yahmir Arends.
Together, they raised the flag up the pole while the associates were singing the national anthem and paying their respect to the historical and meaningful day for the local community.
The festivities continued midday when the Loss Prevention Department and the Social Committee hosted their theme luncheon commemorating the island’s National Anthem and Flag Day.
The Chit Chat Café was beautifully decorated with National Anthem and Flag Day inspired decorations, as traditional Aruban food was served.
The associates were also treated to a special musical appearance by Robert Thiel and company.
The Loss Prevention Department and the Social Committee did a fabulous job organizing a wonderful day of celebration at the resort.
