La Cabana Beach Resort & Casino Celebrates Second Quarter Awards, 2021

The Celebration included the Associate and Supervisor of the Month nominations for April, May & June, and Team of the Second Quarter selection for 2021.

All nominees and winners were introduced by their supervisors and managers and were publicly praised for their many professional accomplishments. They were presented with elegant engraved plaques, dinner gift certificates at the Islander Grill, as well as redeemable resort stars. The gathering was held in the ballroom and was divided into two independent sessions in accordance to all safety and hygiene protocols, limiting agglomeration.

For the first group, the Associates’ of the Month Nominees were invited with their respective managers for the months of April, May and June.
Winners Alvaro Paramo, Accounting, Johanna Alvarez, Housekeeping, and Dominico ‘Leo’ Thiel, Loss Prevention, were each recognized for their outstanding achievements.

This was followed by a second gathering celebrating the Supervisor/Team and Manager of the 2nd Quarter. Among winners Supervisor Juan Marquez, Housekeeping, the resort’s Activities Team, and Manager Sudi Guda, Human Resources, receiving top honors. 
The celebration included a snack box for everyone present, General Manager Joe Najjar, and Assistant General Manager Jessica Franken reiterated their pride of the high-achievers and encouraged associates to continue making their best efforts to provide guests with outstanding service, from the heart.

The gathering thanked the Departments of Human Resources & Food & Beverage for organizing much-enjoyed twin affair. Congratulation to the entire team on a job well done.
