International Day of Happiness at Amsterdam Manor Beach Resort and MVC Eagle Beach

This day was celebrated for the first time in 2013 by the United Nations and recognizes the importance of happiness in the lives of people around the world. The purpose of the 17 Sustainable Development Goals of the UN is to end poverty, reduce inequality and protect our planet; in turn all three lead to wellbeing and happiness. Amsterdam Manor Beach Resort and MVC Eagle Beach have been celebrating this year since 2016 with different offers, prizes and special tokens of gratitude and happiness for employees and guests.

This year was no exception as there are even more reasons to celebrate since Amsterdam Manor Beach Resort is celebrating its 30th anniversary. As part of this celebrations a campaign was launched where users were asked to share what happiness was to them on Amsterdam Manor Beach Resort’s Facebook page. The winner of the campaign won a 4 night stay at the Amsterdam Manor Beach Resort including breakfast for two. Additionally, all employees of both properties received a smiley face button and were encouraged to wear it and let guests know about this special day. All guests who checked in on March 20th received a happy balloon to make their day happier.
