Housekeeping Week Celebrated at Caribbean Palm Village Resort
The Caribbean Palm Village Resort celebrated International Housekeeping Week, with a slew of activities designed to entertain, reward and pamper members of that hard working department.
International Housekeeping Week, IEHA, is celebrated worldwide since 1981, as one week is set aside for all to focus attention and recognition on the professional housekeepers working in hotels, resorts and other public facilities, maintaining a cleaner, safer, healthier environment for us all each and every day.
The action-packed week started with Belkis Moreu of Moreu Facilitation, teaching The Power of Thought, to the engaged and engaging. On another day Health & Control were discussed with IBISA, the local sports authority, then Sergio Wever of Be Safe 4 Life, gave a presentation about safety, from housekeeping point of view, and later in the week the popular annual bingo was played, featuring many prizes.
