One of the most iconic car rental brands in the world – is celebrating its centennial anniversary worldwide.
and in Aruba we didn’t allow this historical event to pass by unnoticed.

Our Hertz 100th Anniversary Month is therefor a celebration for the company, employees and vendors.
We came up with a full month of activities. Together with our Hertz Creative Think Tank, we came up with the idea that the week must have activities that are socially, educationally, healthy with lots of fun. We got 30 employees and volunteers to start the week with a charity fundraising carwash event. We have accomplished to wash (detailed almost) 206 vehicles in 6 hours. We accomplished to generate more than afl. 1000.00 per hour. All proceeds will go to Sgt. Pepper’s Friends. We also belief that we need to give back to the community and support our tourism where possible. Its our common interest to do something about this. Aside from being a responsible company we have also accomplished to strengthen our camaraderie and spirit. This made me proud and gave me a sense of fulfillment knowing we can if we want, said Vince.
The Monday and Tuesday started early with a Healthy Breakfast for all employees, later on Tuesday a group of employees attended a healthy cooking session, where eye opening (and mouth watering) recipes where presented and tasted.
Wednesday and Thursday was dedicated to CPR. I am so proud, that I can say that the majority of Hertz Employees are now certified and ready to help any one in need.
On Friday a group dedicated the happy hour walking the north shore from Daimari to Conchi and Back in all tranquility absorbing the beauty of our island.
On Saturday we have closed the week in beautiful setting at Que Pasa. The entire team enjoyed a nice 3 course menu and bubbly drinks….” To another 100 years I heard the team toasting in a fun filled celebration evening” If its me, sure... With this team we can make it another 100 years…
