World-renowned Mexican Chef Emilio Macías.
On Friday, May 25th and Saturday, May 26th, the Aruba Marriott Resort & Stellaris Casino hosted a fun and unique two night culinary event “El Diablito takes over The Lobby”.
During the event, Chef Emilio Macías brought the attendees through a culinary journey with a menu full of upscale Mexican flavors, all prepared with authentic Mexican ingredients as well as a touch of local elements. El Diablito’s menu brought forward the best flavors of Mexico demonstrating the cooking style and presentation techniques of star Chef Emilio Macías. Guests indulged in a variety of Mexican dishes such as elotitos, red snapper a la veracruzana, lobster, crab and angus short rib tacos to mention a few. Guests also enjoyed special Mexican cocktails such as Margaritas, Micheladas and Tequila cocktails. For two nights only, The Lobby, located at the Aruba Marriott Resort & Stellaris Casino, was converted into a mischievous and sultry Mexican pop-up affair for this event, with a Mexican inspired setup and décor.
Emilio Macías is a world-renowned Mexican nomad Chef that travels the world for culinary inspiration while bringing his own restaurant project ‘El Diablito’ to other restaurants. Emilio is a graduate of the Culinary Institute of America in New York and has worked at various international Michelin Star Restaurants such as Mugaritz in Renteria, El Racò de Can Fabes in Sant Celoni, Jean Luc Figueras in Barcelona and Atrio in Caceres, Spain, La Peca, Lonigo, Italy, Le Manoir aux Quat'Saisons in Oxford, England and RyuGin, Tokyo Japan.
