Café the Plaza in the Renaissance Marketplace is going all-out in the preparations for its 25th anniversary in the month October. Getting in the right mood is important, so starting this month, the popular restaurant is offering great specials to go with Dutch ‘Eredivisie' soccer games.
On Friday, August 5 the first game of the new season is between NEC and Zwolle at 2 pm; on Saturday, August 6 it will be ADO Den Haag against Go Ahead at 12.30 pm. On Sunday, August 7 the day starts early when Groningen meet Feyenoord at 6.30 am; at 8.30 AZ and Heerenveen and Sparta – Ajax are playing, while Roda JC and Heracles walk on the field at 10.45.
Two screens and a big screen for the most important games will be used to broadcast the series, which continues with a Friday afternoon 2 pm, a Saturday 12.30 pm and a Sunday morning session. Breakfast and lunch specials, a snack platter as well as a special price of $4,- on Heineken and Amstel Bright (will surely see to it that everyone will flock to Café the Plaza for cheering on their favorite teams, food and drink.
