Gold Coast Aruba - Double Celebration
On Thursday July 21st, the Gold Coast Clubhouse was inaugurated at Gold Coast Residence, over cocktails and hors d’oeuvres, by White Modern Cuisine, its new resident restaurant.
Developer Fito Croes and family members welcomed neighbors, Gold Coast residents, dignitaries and friends to the beautiful just-finished clubhouse with infinite salina views, and the high-rise hotels on the horizon. The interiors of the Clubhouse and Restaurant were completed by the talented inhouse design and creative team, headed by Marisol Croes-Marchena.
The clubhouse is located at the west end of residence and proudly features a porte cochere with a bronze art piece by Gilbert Senchi, a conch, spitting water into a lovely rotund pool in the driveway.
The main lobby is beautifully tiled and open air, with comfortable sitting corners in front of the residence check in desk.
Outside on the terrace overlooking the free form, zero entry pool, the bar commands the right hand side, while the rest of the gorgeous open space is home to White Modern Cuisine, including a partially enclosed dining room with modular glass doors.
Both the clubhouse and the restaurant received many compliments on the stylish set up and the lush landscaping, bordered with fusia bougainvilleas, planted in the sugar white beach sand.
Chef Urvin Croes first introduce White, Modern Cuisine, his own contemporary eatery, at the Palm Beach Plaza Mall. He moved his kitchen and his talented staff to Gold Coast Residence with the completion of the clubhouse. The creative and innovative Aruban-born Chef was trained in the Netherlands and in Italy where he enjoyed a solid career from the minute he finished culinary school, winning gastronomic awards, and working in fine establishments including the Michelin starred Grand Hotel Karel V, in Utrecht Holland. Upon his return to the island Chef Urvin joined the culinary artists at several of the island’s top restaurants and at a pivotal moment in his career, spread his wings to open his own restaurant, White, promoting the harmony between food and wine, balancing quality and flavor, in their purest form. He since then also opened the prestigious Chef’s Table by White cooking studio, located at Blue Condominiums, on Eagle Beach. Both restaurants’ menus, conceived and presented by Chef Urvin and his staff include hot and cold appetizers, land and sea dishes and desserts, served at a relaxed pace, creating an enjoyable culinary journey rather than rushed dinner The inaugural party of both the clubhouse and the restaurant was catered by Chef Urvin, in celebration of the Croes family accomplishments since construction of the residence started.
The project planning stage began in 2006, when the Croes family took the ambitious project on. Then the first homes were delivered to proud owners in 2008.
Fito Croes & Urvin Croes offered a toast, then guests enjoyed the party, the cocktails, the hors d'oeuvres and the raffle by Diamond International!
Gold Coast Residence is the island’s most complete master-planned residential community, a great number of owned town-houses and villas are also renting to transient guests making Gold Coast a unique vacation experience. The residence rental program provides great value for families or couples traveling together who are looking for extra space that a residence provides. Additionally, the value is unmatched when one compares the price of a Gold Coast residence to any of Aruba’s fine 4 star resort accommodations. When all complete, Gold Coast will boast over 260 residences, in 2 and 3 bedroom townhouses, single level 3 bedroom condos, and 3 and 4 bedroom villa homes, set among 26 acres of lush landscaping, picturesque plazas, and fountains, within the walls of a fully secure community.
The design of Gold Coast Villas Aruba was conceived by the dynamic Croes family members, whose original vision now results in beauty, quality, style, security, and convenience, properly financed and well constructed, in strict adherence to budgets and time-tables. Also on hand to congratulate the developers, two first investors Elizabeth Reznicov and Leo Avin, also representing Elizabeth’s son, investor Max Sokolov.
