Aruba Doet

Would you like to roll up your sleeves and volunteer for (part of) a day at a foundation, school, care home, neighbourhood organisation, scouting group, or sports club? Participate and see the volunteering world up close, help organisations get the job done and have a great time doing it! 

On Friday 10th and Saturday 11th of March 2023 CEDE Aruba, in cooperation with the Oranje Fonds, will be organising the 11th edition of ARUBA DOET. This is an opportunity for social organisations to get jobs or social activities for their target group done with the helping hands of volunteers. Projects such as painting a wall, freshening up a playground, organising an outing for elderly people or making a new fence at an animal shelter. Volunteers are the heart and soul of many community organisations. Through ARUBA DOET the Oranje Fonds and CEDE Aruba emphasise how important actively engaged citizens are for the community and for social organisations. What’s also important, ARUBA DOET helps to improve the image of volunteering and shows how much fun it can be.
